Jamie Kah to ride Zaaki in the Winx Stakes
In a much-anticipated comeback, Jamie Kah is poised to make her return by riding Zaaki in the upcoming Group 1 Winx Stakes (1400m) at Randwick this Saturday.
Following her sidelining due to a severe fall at Flemington in March, which resulted in a brain bleed and memory loss, Kah’s tenacious recovery journey has led her back to the track.
Recently, she rode Zaaki in a Rosehill barrier trial, marking a significant step in her rehabilitation.
Notably, Kah’s past collaboration with Zaaki resulted in victories at the Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes and All Star Mile.
Her participation in the 900m barrier trial saw her stepping in for James McDonald, who’s committed to Shinzo.
