Our form is packed with stats and info, so we have put together a quick tutorial to explain all aspects of the form guides.
You can also use your arrow keys to navigate through.
The first thing to note is that our form guides act similar to a spreadsheet.
You can scroll horizontally and vertically to see all of the available data.
The form guide is split into columns. Each column can be sorted by highest or lowest by clicking the column header.
Arrows indicate the direction the column is sorted in, and a sorted column has a darker background. You will also see the column being sorted in the top left (eg. "Sorting by Career Starts").
You can also change the columns displayed in the form guide. Clicking the add icon () in the header will bring up a list of available columns you can add.
It's also possible to change any of the displayed columns using the arrow () in each header.
For example if you'd like to see first up, second up and head to head records, you can set all those columns up. Career record is always fixed to the left.
Our form guides provide a wealth of information for each runner.
The numbers below each horse represent the horse's last 10 positions, including spells (marked with x).
The darker area to the right of recent form indicates the number of days since the horse's last start, and the number of runs into this preparation.
In this case, Anamoe ran 21 days ago, and this is his 3rd run of the prep.
You will notice some horses also have a lighter gray area. If a horse did not win its last start, this will be shown to indicate the number of days, and the number of starts, since the horse last won.
Here, Easy Rosie last won 238 days, and 5 starts ago.
Finally, the horse age and sex are shown (here 4yo mare), along with futher information - the green D means former distance winner, T is former track winner, and TD is former track and distance winner (at the same time).
Some runners will also have the black letters you see here, with B meaning the horse is wearing blinkers, and G indicating gear changes; hover over this to see details.
The numbers with arrows further to the right indicate the difference in distance, and race purse, from the horse's last start.
Here, Anamoe is running in a race 100 metres less than last time, and the race purse is up $400k.
Click on a horse name to see full details of it's history, from breeding, to head to heads, to every one of its previous starts.
Expand any of the sections by clicking on it. For example, to see how a horse has fared through all of it's previous preparations, click "Career Spells".
That's the end of our basic form guide tutorial.
You should now have a grasp on how to edit the form guide to suit your needs. Give it a go!
